Media rights deal expands WTGL distribution

Scripps Sports’ ION signed a multiyear U.S. media-rights deal with TMRW Sports, in partnership with the LPGA, to carry WTGL matches.

ESPN will also air WTGL across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, extending the league’s national distribution across broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital platforms.

The inaugural season launches Nov. 8 from SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, giving ION a consistent free over-the-air broadcast window.

ION reaches more than 128 million U.S. households, adding WTGL to its women’s sports portfolio alongside the WNBA, NWSL, and PWHL.
