1. Safety and Environmental Performance
In 2025, Seabridge achieved a Total Recordable Incident Frequency of 0.73 across 547,418 hours—less than half its 1.5 target—and recorded zero reportable spills. The KSM Project won the AME David Barr Award for health and safety excellence, while eight regulatory inspections across five projects yielded zero major non-compliances.
2. Renewable Power Connection
Seabridge reached a milestone with the Treaty Creek Terminal switching station, linking the KSM Project to low-cost hydroelectric power from BC Hydro. This connection is expected to materially enhance long-term sustainability credentials and reduce operating costs at the flagship project.
3. Social and Governance Initiatives
The company awarded $50,000 in bursaries to 48 students through partnerships with local Indigenous governments and directed 71% of procurement spending to nearby communities. Women represent 52% of the workforce and 40% of the board, Indigenous leadership grew, and the Pulsora platform was implemented for auditable GHG and climate data reporting alongside Scope 3 emissions pilots.
