SEALSQ embeds CRYSTALS-Kyber and Dilithium PQC in chips to secure blockchain
SEALSQ is deploying NIST-selected PQC algorithms such as CRYSTALS-Kyber and CRYSTALS-Dilithium directly into its TPM-class secure elements and semiconductors to enable hardware-rooted, quantum-resistant protection for blockchain transactions and digital identities. The technology will also integrate with WISeKey’s satellite networks and WeCan platform to secure DePIN and space-based IoT communications.
1. Post-Quantum Hardware Integration
SEALSQ has integrated NIST-selected post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, including CRYSTALS-Kyber for key encapsulation and CRYSTALS-Dilithium for digital signatures, into its TPM-class chips and secure elements. These hardware modules provide a root-of-trust for key generation and tamper-resistant storage, ensuring cryptographic operations remain secure against future quantum-computing threats.
2. Blockchain and Transaction Security
The company’s crypto-agile architecture allows blockchain ecosystems to replace or augment existing elliptic-curve schemes with quantum-resistant signatures and key exchange. By embedding PQC certificates into PKI infrastructures, SEALSQ enables long-term non-repudiation and secure transaction settlement across distributed ledger systems.
3. Partnerships and Deployments
In collaboration with Swiss financial blockchain platform WeCan, SEALSQ is applying its PQC-enabled hardware to protect financial-grade transactions. It also leverages WISeKey subsidiaries, including WISeSat.Space, to embed post-quantum modules into satellite communication networks for secure, end-to-end data and identity verification.
4. DePIN and Space IoT Applications
Through its SEALCOIN.AI platform and DePIN technology, SEALSQ supports machine-to-machine transactions using QAIT tokens across energy, mobility, data and space domains. The integration of hardware-backed identities, MPC and zero-knowledge proofs ensures privacy, auditability and low-latency settlement in both terrestrial and orbital IoT ecosystems.
