Seaport Therapeutics presents Phase 1 GlyphAgo data showing 6.8-fold increase in agomelatine bioavailability
SPTX•Seaport Therapeutics said Phase 1 data showed GlyphAgo produced a 6.8-fold increase in agomelatine bioavailability, with more reliable exposure and no meaningful food-related impact or buildup over a week of dosing.
1. Phase 1 findings
Seaport Therapeutics disclosed additional pharmacokinetic data from a completed Phase 1 healthy-volunteer study of GlyphAgo ahead of a poster presentation at the ECNP Congress on Oct. 11, 2026. The company said the results showed more reliable exposure than unmodified agomelatine, with no meaningful food-related impact or buildup over a week of dosing. Its strategy targets comparable therapeutic levels at lower doses, aiming to limit liver exposure and reduce monitoring friction. GlyphAgo has moved into Phase 2a development for generalized anxiety disorder, with topline data expected in early 2028.
