The up-front payment replaces royalties that would have been distributed over the next four years, providing an immediate boost to the company’s balance sheet. Management indicated that the accelerated cash inflow will be allocated towards scaling production of its driver monitoring systems and funding ongoing R&D initiatives, reducing reliance on external financing.

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Seeing Machines will showcase its next-generation 3D Cabin Perception Mapping solution, demonstrating real-time, high-fidelity sensing of every vehicle occupant. The live, in-vehicle demonstration will highlight the system’s ability to track occupant presence, position and behavior, enabling automakers to enhance in-car safety and user experience. The company will also present how its interior sensors integrate with exterior systems for a unified perception of road and cabin dynamics, supporting smarter and more adaptive automated driving applications.
