1. Early $14.1 Million Cash Injection Strengthens Balance Sheet

Seeing Machines Ltd has secured a one-off cash payment of $14.1 million this month following a renegotiation of its long-running royalty agreement with a major automotive OEM. The revised deal replaces royalty payments that were scheduled to accrue gradually over the next four years, delivering an accelerated boost to the company’s liquidity and extending its cash runway into fiscal 2027. The London-listed technology group, which develops camera-based driver and occupant monitoring systems, said the prepayment will be recognized in its January financials and is expected to underpin R&D investment in its next-generation solutions without diluting equity or increasing debt levels.

2. 3D Cabin Perception Mapping Debut at CES 2026 to Drive Product Adoption

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Seeing Machines will unveil its pioneering 3D Cabin Perception Mapping platform in a live, in-vehicle demonstration, showcasing high-fidelity sensing that tracks driver and passenger presence, position and behavior in real time. The system integrates with exterior sensor arrays to provide a unified perception of both cabin dynamics and road conditions, targeting advanced safety and supervised autonomy applications. The company will also highlight its latest Driver and Occupant Monitoring System integrated into a rear-view mirror form factor, currently in volume production as part of its largest automotive program to date. Strategic partnerships with Valeo, Magna, QNX and Texas Instruments at CES underscore accelerating customer engagement and pave the way for broader deployment across global OEMs.
