Seeing Machines to showcase DMS/OMS rear-view mirror from largest auto program and 3D cabin mapping at CES 2026

Seeing Machines will unveil its next-gen 3D Cabin Perception Mapping at CES 2026, using high-fidelity sensors to monitor driver and passenger position and behaviour in real time. Its DMS/OMS rear-view mirror system, in production under its largest automotive program to date, underscores expanding commercial traction.

1. Early $14m Cash Boost from Royalty Deal Rewrite

Seeing Machines will receive approximately $14.1 million in cash this month following a renegotiation of its long-standing royalty agreement with a major automotive customer. The lump-sum payment replaces royalties that would have been disbursed gradually over the next four years, accelerating revenue recognition and bolstering the company’s liquidity. Management anticipates the influx will increase cash reserves by nearly 25% compared with year-end levels, funding expanded R&D efforts for next-generation driver-monitoring and occupant-sensing technologies and supporting operational costs tied to recently secured production programs.

2. Unveiling 3D Cabin Perception Mapping at CES 2026

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Seeing Machines will showcase its next-generation 3D Cabin Perception Mapping solution, delivering high-fidelity, real-time monitoring of drivers and all vehicle occupants. Attendees can experience live, in-vehicle demonstrations that integrate interior sensing with exterior sensor systems, providing automakers with a comprehensive view of both cabin dynamics and road conditions. The solution, already in production as part of the company’s largest automotive program to date, features an integrated rear-view mirror form factor and has been developed in partnership with industry leaders such as Valeo, Magna, QNX and Texas Instruments to support supervised autonomous driving deployment.
