Sellas presents preclinical SLS009 data in pancreatic cancer organoid models at AACR conference
SLS•Sellas presented preclinical SLS009 data from patient-derived pancreatic cancer organoid studies at an AACR conference running Sept. 25-28, 2026. SLS009 showed stronger single-agent anti-tumor activity than a RAS inhibitor in one resistant, MYC-amplified model, and combinations with RAS or BET inhibitors showed increased cancer cell death or synergistic activity.
1. Preclinical study results
Sellas disclosed preclinical data on SLS009, a CDK9 inhibitor, from patient-derived pancreatic cancer organoid studies presented at the AACR Conference on Pancreatic Cancer in San Diego. In a resistant, MYC-amplified model, SLS009 showed stronger single-agent anti-tumor activity than a RAS inhibitor; combining the drugs increased cancer cell death. A separate SLS009 and BET inhibition study produced synergistic activity, consistent with suppressing MYC-driven survival programs.
