Semiconductor maker Diodes steadies after $325 mln convertible bond sale

Last week, Diodes posted second-quarter revenue up 22% year over year to $445.5 million and adjusted EPS of 70 cents, compared with 32 cents profit a year earlier, driven by expanding content in automotive, industrial and AI server-related applications.
At Thursday's close, the stock was up 18% month to date and had nearly doubled in 2026.
Diodes prices $325 million convertible bonds
Shares of semiconductor products maker Diodes (DIOD.O) traded fractionally higher before the bell on Friday after it secured a capital raise.
Plano, Texas-based Diodes announced pricing of a private offering of $325 million of 0% convertible bonds due Aug. 15, 2031.
The conversion price of $145.79 is 50% above the stock's last close of $97.19.
Diodes' shares finished down about 9% on Thursday after the company launched the offering for general purposes, including potential acquisitions.
The company expects to use $19 million of proceeds to pay for capped call transactions and to repurchase about of its shares to mitigate potential dilution.
