Sempra's Cameron LNG appears to have one liquefaction train offline, LSEG data shows
SRE•Ownership and facility details
Sempra SRE.N, which owns Cameron LNG, did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Cameron LNG, located in Hackberry, Louisiana, is a three-train export facility with a capacity to export 13.5 million metric tons per annum (mtpa). Sempra Infrastructure owns a 50.2% stake in the project, with the remainder held by affiliates of TotalEnergies TTEF.PA, Mitsui & Co and Japan LNG Investment.
The facility is one of the largest LNG export plants on the U.S. Gulf Coast and the United States is the world's largest LNG exporter.
One Cameron LNG train appears offline
Sempra's Cameron LNG appeared to have one of its three liquefaction trains offline on Wednesday, as natural gas deliveries to the Louisiana facility fell well below typical levels, according to LSEG data.
Feedgas nominations to the plant were about 1.3 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) on Wednesday, down from the roughly 2 bcfd the facility typically consumes when all three trains are operating, according to LSEG data.
The decline suggests one train may be offline or operating at reduced rates.
