Semtech’s LoRa radio modulation will power Amazon Sidewalk’s 2026 global rollout, starting this month in Canada and Mexico and expanding to additional regions later this year. Amazon Sidewalk currently covers approximately 95% of the U.S. population and will leverage LoRa as its core radio modulation for a 2026 international rollout. The expansion begins in Canada and Mexico this month and will extend to additional regions later this year, transforming Sidewalk into a true wide-area network.
