Sensient Technologies elects Ernest Chan, Philip Yu to board
SXT•Sensient Technologies elected Ernest Chan and Philip Yu to its board on October 29, effective December 2, 2026. The board expanded from nine to 10 members.
1. Board appointments
Chan and Yu will join the board’s Scientific Advisory Committee and serve until the 2027 annual shareholder meeting, when successors are elected. One appointment fills a vacancy after Essie Whitelaw’s death in September 2026. Chan is CEO of RF Technologies, and Yu is a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and senior director, global business, at IMSAR.
