SentinelOne Launches DSPM on Feb. 6 and Integrates Prompt Security for AI Protection
On February 6, SentinelOne introduced new Data Security Posture Management features to its AI Security Platform, preventing high-risk data ingestion and pipeline poisoning across the AI lifecycle. Combined with its recent Prompt Security acquisition, the enhancements enable real-time command inspection, lateral movement blocking and cloud-to-runtime threat tracing for AI systems.
1. DSPM Feature Rollout
On February 6, SentinelOne expanded its AI Security Platform with Data Security Posture Management capabilities. These tools prevent sensitive or malicious data from entering AI pipelines, addressing threats such as data memorization and pipeline poisoning before model training begins.
2. Prompt Security Acquisition Impact
The recent acquisition of Prompt Security adds a governance layer for AI agents, enabling real-time inspection of commands. This integration strengthens SentinelOne’s ability to detect and block lateral movement from data layers to model logic.
3. Lifecycle-Wide AI Protection
SentinelOne’s unified approach traces risks from data ingestion through runtime execution, protecting endpoints, cloud workloads and AI models in real-world operations. The platform enhancements help enterprises meet privacy and regulatory requirements while securing AI deployments.
