Service Properties Trust adds Jeanmarie Cooney as independent trustee

Service Properties Trust elected Jeanmarie Cooney as an independent trustee, effective immediately, expanding the board to eight members.
Cooney served on Playa Hotels & Resorts’ board from 2022 to 2025, chairing its audit committee from 2023 until the 2025 sale to Hyatt.
Her prior roles include CFO of Wyndham Hotel Group, senior vice president of global FP&A at Wyndham Worldwide, and CFO of New York Road Runners.
