ServiceNow and OpenAI accelerate enterprise AI
NOW•ServiceNow and OpenAI announced expanded enterprise AI work, including a new ChatGPT plugin, integrations for security and risk solutions, and OpenAI’s deployment of ServiceNow. Several capabilities are scheduled for release or early access from 2026 through 2027.
1. Expanded AI collaboration
ServiceNow and OpenAI announced initiatives spanning enterprise AI, cybersecurity and agentic development. ServiceNow is introducing a plugin for ChatGPT, while OpenAI will deploy ServiceNow and ServiceNow will offer ChatGPT Work and Codex to employees.
2. Planned capabilities
ServiceNow’s Super Intelligence Control Tower is set to use OpenAI voice models for AI risk assessments, with voice capabilities expected in Q1 2027. OpenAI-powered security capabilities are planned for early access in January 2027 and general availability in Q2 2027, while Codex integration in AI Workflow Factory is expected in 2027.
3. Marketplace and alliance
The ServiceNow MCP plugin is available in the OpenAI Marketplace, with enhanced capabilities planned by the end of 2026. OpenAI has joined the ServiceNow Control Tower Alliance as a founding member, and ServiceNow security and risk solutions are to integrate OpenAI cybersecurity capabilities.
