ServiceNow, OpenAI agree three-year GPT-5.2 AI agent integration deal
ServiceNow signed a three-year agreement with OpenAI to integrate GPT-5.2 into its enterprise workflow platform and develop AI voice agents for natural speech interactions. The collaboration enables businesses to deploy AI agents directly within ServiceNow’s environment, expanding its product capabilities without disclosed financial terms.
1. ServiceNow Enhances Global Partner Program
At its Partner Kickoff event in Las Vegas on January 20, 2026, ServiceNow unveiled a major overhaul of its global Partner Program designed to accelerate AI agent innovation. The company reported that its ecosystem now comprises more than 2,700 partners worldwide, and over 1,000 existing partners—including AutomatePro and SailPoint—will transition into the redesigned Build Program by the end of March. These enhancements aim to streamline how ISVs, developers and technology partners build, test, certify and distribute AI-powered solutions on the ServiceNow AI Platform, while expanding the ServiceNow Store as a global marketplace for enterprise-ready AI agents.
2. Reimagined Build Program Drives Faster Solution Development
ServiceNow’s new Build Program introduces a modernized tier structure—Registered, Select, Premier, Elite—and an Access Tier for entry-stage innovators, offering immediate access to tools and resources without full enrollment. This structure provides stronger benefits, clearer differentiation opportunities and dedicated paths to market for partners creating AI agents, applications and connectors. By simplifying onboarding and reducing barriers to entry, ServiceNow expects the pace of partner-built innovation to accelerate, unlocking new workflow automation and generative capabilities for its customers.
3. Unified Investment Portfolio and Simplified Pricing Boost Partner Growth
To fuel partner-led growth, ServiceNow launched a unified investment portfolio for 2026 that increases funding across the entire partner lifecycle. Key elements include a revamped Market Development Fund with 100% reimbursement on select activities, a Strategic Investment Fund targeting high-impact opportunities, and enhanced sell-through, deployment and specialization incentives tied to partner tiers. Additionally, ServiceNow has replaced multiple fee schedules with a single annual membership fee for all global partners, reflecting direct feedback and intended to reduce administrative friction and enable partners to focus on innovation and customer outcomes.
4. Strategic Collaboration with OpenAI Integrates GPT-5.2 into Enterprise Workflows
In a separate announcement, ServiceNow signed a three-year agreement with OpenAI to embed GPT-5.2 and advanced speech-to-speech technology within the ServiceNow AI Platform. This collaboration will enable real-time voice agents capable of listening, reasoning and responding instantly in any language, as well as computer-use models that turn unstructured documents into actionable workflows. By combining more than 80 billion annual workflows on ServiceNow with OpenAI’s frontier models, the partnership aims to deliver next-generation automation across complex IT landscapes and drive measurable business outcomes at scale.
