1. authID Integration Expands ServiceNow Contact Center Security

ServiceNow today strengthens its contact center platform with a new integration from authID, a biometric identity authentication specialist. The integration will secure more than 8,400 ServiceNow-powered contact centers globally—including 85% of Fortune 500 companies—by enabling frictionless identity verification and authentication at the help desk. Through authID’s Proof™, Verified™ and PrivacyKey™ modules, contact center agents can now send SMS or email challenges directly from the ServiceNow UI to confirm a caller’s identity before executing high-risk or high-value transactions. Identity verification results and authentication timestamps are written into ServiceNow ticket and user logs, providing a full audit trail and reducing account takeover fraud. ServiceNow customers will gain immediate access to the integration via the ServiceNow Store as part of the company’s ongoing platform enhancement efforts.
