ServiceNow Reimagines Build Program with 1,000+ Partners and Streamlined Fees
ServiceNow reimagined its Build Program, transitioning over 1,000 ISVs, developers and technology partners into four modernized tiers by March to expand its global marketplace for partner-built AI agents. It also launched a unified investment portfolio with increased incentives, co-marketing funds and a streamlined annual membership fee for over 2,700 partners.
1. ServiceNow Expands Partner Program to Accelerate AI Agent Innovation
At its Partner Kickoff event in Las Vegas on January 20, 2026, ServiceNow unveiled a comprehensive overhaul of its global Partner Program designed to drive AI agent innovation. The reimagined Build Program introduces a modernized tier structure—Registered, Select, Premier and Elite—and a new Access Tier that grants entry-stage partners immediate access to tools and resources. More than 1,000 existing partners, including AutomatePro and SailPoint, will transition into the revamped program by the end of Q1, joining over 2,700 partners worldwide. The enhancements also strengthen the ServiceNow Store as a global marketplace for partner-built AI agents, enabling ISVs, developers and technology partners to build, test, certify and distribute solutions on the ServiceNow AI Platform with streamlined certification processes and dedicated co-innovation tracks.
2. Unified Investment Portfolio and Simplified Pricing to Fuel Partner-Led Growth
To support partners at every stage of the life cycle, ServiceNow is rolling out a unified 2026 investment portfolio backed by increased funding for Market Development Funds (100% reimbursement for select activities), a Strategic Investment Fund targeting high-impact customer opportunities and expanded sell-through, deployment and specialization incentives. These measures are aligned to the updated partner tiers, ensuring access to the right level of support as partners scale. In response to partner feedback, ServiceNow has also introduced a single annual membership fee for all global partners, replacing multiple fee bands with a simpler, more equitable structure intended to reduce administrative friction and allow partners to focus on solution development, go-to-market execution and revenue generation.
3. ServiceNow Signs Three-Year Deal with OpenAI to Integrate GPT-5.2
ServiceNow formalized a three-year strategic agreement with OpenAI to embed GPT-5.2 into its enterprise workflow platform and develop next-generation AI voice technology. Under the pact announced in early 2026, ServiceNow engineers and OpenAI technical advisors will collaborate on real-time speech-to-speech agents capable of listening, reasoning and responding without text intermediation. The integration will also power advanced generative automation, enabling customers to convert unstructured data into actionable workflows and orchestrate legacy systems at scale. Although financial terms were not disclosed, the deal underscores ServiceNow’s commitment to offering multiple frontier AI models within its AI Control Tower framework, which manages governance, orchestration and auditability for enterprise deployments.
