SES AI announced that CFO Jing Nealis will step down effective April 27, 2026, after completing the Q1 2026 Form 10-Q and participating in the earnings call. Nealis has agreed to assist with an orderly handover during the transition period.

Since joining in 2021, Nealis navigated SES AI through a Series D and D+ financing round, oversaw its public listing, led the acquisition of UZ Energy and launched three revenue-generating business units.
3. Incoming CFO’s Background
Yi (Ray) Liu brings over two decades of finance leadership, most recently as North America Chief Risk and Control Officer at Adyen. His prior roles include Director of Risk Management and Head of Finance for MetLife Investment Management’s global operations and senior audit positions at Emerson Electric and PwC.
