Shake Shack up after profit, revenue beat estimates

Shares of Shake Shack SHAK.N rose 1.4% to $67.17 in premarket trading after the burger chain beat quarterly result estimates on strong demand.
Q2 total revenue rose 17.2% to $417.6 million; analysts on average had estimated $417.2 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.
Q2 adjusted EPS was 43 cents, beating the 31-cent estimate.
System-wide sales jumped 13.8% year over year to $625.8 million.
SHAK opened 16 new co-operated stores and 11 new licensed stores in Q2.
As of the last close, SHAK was down 18.4% year to date.
