Sharp starts taking orders for AI servers in Japan
Sharp entered Japan’s AI server market, taking orders starting today for NVIDIA-based systems ahead of a planned fiscal 2027 commercial launch.
Initial orders cover an enterprise AI server model AI-B43100, configurable with up to eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.
Planned later intake includes an NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8-based system targeting large-scale training and inference.
Sales distribution partnerships were set with Daiwabo Information System and Ryoyo Ryosan; TOMORROW NET will handle operations and maintenance support.
Foxconn collaboration will support procurement and manufacturing as GPU supply constraints lengthen delivery timelines for AI infrastructure.
