Shell to sell European onshore renewables portfolio to TotalEnergies
Shell signed an SPA to sell its European onshore renewables portfolio to TotalEnergies.
Assets span development-stage projects and operational sites across Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK; about 0.5 GW in operation or development.
The deal targets completion by end-2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
The transaction supports portfolio high-grading, capital recycling, and focus on asset-backed power trading and customer energy solutions.
