Shell launches USD 4.23 billion share buyback program
SHEL•Shell announces new buyback program
Shell launched a roughly three-month share buyback program worth USD 4.23 billion, targeting completion before its Q3 2026 results.
The program includes USD 3 billion in new repurchases, reactivating USD 1.23 billion not executed during the prior buyback suspension tied to the ARC deal.
A maximum of 565,550,000 ordinary shares may be repurchased across London and Netherlands trading venues through Oct. 23, 2026.
All shares bought back under the program will be canceled, cutting issued share capital.
