The paintmaker is expected to report quarterly revenue up 5% to $6.60 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.52, versus $3.38 a year ago, according to LSEG.
In its last quarterly report, the company forecast mid-single-digit sales growth, citing price hikes to offset rising raw material costs from supply chain disruptions.
Shares rise ahead of quarterly results
Sherwin-Williams SHW.N shares were gaining 3.0% at $327 on Monday ahead of quarterly results due before the opening bell on Tuesday, with investors focused on margin pressure from raw material costs and the impact of price hikes.
Recent earnings record and analyst view
SHW has met or beaten EPS estimates in six of the past eight quarters, with its most recent miss in Q2 2025.
Of the 26 analysts that cover Sherwin-Williams Co, 14 have "strong buy" or "buy" ratings and 12 have "hold" ratings.
The median price target of $380 is up from $378 a month ago.
SHW shares are up about 1% year to date, versus an about 8% climb in the Dow Industrials .DJI.
