Shinhan Financial Group agreed on Oct. 13, 2026, to acquire a 77.04% stake in Lotte Non-Life Insurance for KRW 693.34 billion. The purchase covers 239,082,287 voting shares at KRW 2,900 each and will be funded with existing cash.

1. Acquisition terms

Shinhan Financial Group agreed to acquire 239,082,287 voting shares in Lotte Non-Life Insurance, representing a 77.04% stake. Shinhan will pay KRW 2,900 per share, for a total of KRW 693.34 billion, funded with existing cash.
