Shoals begins manufacturing, shipping PowerHub units for ON.energy 1.1 GW US battery project

Shoals began manufacturing and shipping PowerHub units for a 1.1 GW grid-connected battery project at a hyperscale data center.

• The project is slated to become the largest grid-connected battery installation in the U.S. once completed.
• The initial phase includes about 360 PowerHub systems to be built at Shoals’ Tennessee Mega facility.
• Deliveries for the first phase have been completed, and commissioning is expected to start in early Q4.
• Additional project phases are underway, and the collaboration has expanded to support multiple other U.S. sites with ON.energy.
