** Co announces it is partnering with Meta Platforms META.O on AI-powered shopping

** SHOP and META plan to allow the Facebook parent's personal AI agent, Muse, to complete purchases on behalf of users across Shopify's store network, the cos said on Monday

** SHOP closed 7.3% higher on Monday after the announcement

** Including session moves, SHOP down about 8% this year, META up about 13%
