JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 1 (Reuters) - Sibanye-Stillwater said on Tuesday its half-year profit more than tripled, driven by higher gold and platinum group metal prices.
The Johannesburg-based miner's headline earnings per share came in at 6.01 rand ($0.3721) in the six months to June 30, compared with 1.90 rand during the same period last year.
