Siemens announced a verified cybersecurity solution for industrial private 5G networks developed with Palo Alto Networks, combining Siemens’ Private 5G infrastructure and SINEC Security Monitor with Palo Alto Networks’ AI-optimized next-generation firewall. The integrated architecture delivers Layer 7 protection, OT protocol deep packet inspection, low-latency real-time control and was validated for high availability, resilience and uninterrupted operations in Siemens’ Digital Connectivity Lab before being released through the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
