Siemens Healthineers entered a collaboration with Novo to expand awareness, earlier assessment and non-invasive testing access for MASLD and MASH.
The partnership targets wider use of blood-based non-invasive tests to reduce reliance on liver biopsy, support earlier triage and improve care pathways.
The effort highlights Siemens’ Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) test, a U.S.-authorized blood test for progression risk in advanced fibrosis due to MASH.
MASLD affects nearly 25% of U.S. adults, remains underdiagnosed, is reversible if caught early, and projected costs are expected to exceed $635 billion by decade-end.
