SGMLSGML

Sigma Lithium sold 150,000 tonnes of high-purity lithium fines at US$140 per tonne with an option for 350,000 additional tonnes at market prices, delivered to the port of Vitoria. It triggered prepayments under a US$96 million production-backed revolver, with $8 million installments against 70,500 tonnes of high-grade concentrate at SOFR+1% interest.

1. Sale of High-Purity Lithium Fines

Sigma Lithium executed an agreement to sell 150,000 tonnes of high-purity lithium fines at US$140 per tonne upon delivery at the Port of Vitoria, plus an option to supply an additional 350,000 tonnes at prevailing market prices. This transaction leverages the company’s Greentech Plant output and provides a new revenue stream from its low-grade product inventory.

2. Production-Backed Revolver Facility

The resumption of high-grade concentrate production triggered prepayments under a US$96 million revolver facility secured by 70,500 tonnes of lithium concentrate to be delivered in 2026. Each $8 million installment is paid 30 days before delivery and carries interest at SOFR+1%, while final sales match spot market prices to preserve upside exposure.
