Silicon Motion completed the first milestone in its EU Cyber Resilience Act compliance program, ahead of incident-reporting obligations effective Sept. 11.
Processes were updated for post-sale vulnerability management, coordinated disclosure, incident response, phased reporting and supply-chain security oversight.
The work positions the company for full CRA application on Dec. 11, 2027, pending final guidance and harmonized standards.
