Silo Pharma wins US patent allowance for SPC-15 PTSD treatment claims

Silo Pharma said it received a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office notice of allowance for a U.S. patent covering SPC-15, an intranasal candidate for PTSD.
The allowed claims cover compositions and methods to prevent or mitigate stress-induced behavioral responses.
The company said the decision extends intellectual property protection for SPC-15, its lead program.
Japan previously issued a corresponding patent for the same invention earlier this year.
