Silvaco entered a collaboration with NVIDIA to accelerate physics-based digital twins for semiconductor design, simulation, and manufacturing.
The deal targets GPU-accelerated simulation using NVIDIA accelerated computing and CUDA-X, aiming to cut runtimes, raise throughput, and improve design productivity.
Silvaco plans AI surrogate models using NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo to speed design-space exploration alongside high-fidelity physics simulation.
The parties also plan cloud-native workflows tied to NVIDIA Omniverse libraries for real-time visualization, collaboration, and scaled engineering across distributed teams.
Silvaco cited a proof point: a 3D FDTD photonic edge-coupler simulation with 3.2 billion mesh nodes on 32 GPUs in under four hours.
