2. Silver Storm Launches 6,000 Metre Underground Drilling Campaign
Silver Storm has commenced a 6,000 metre underground drilling program at its fully owned La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex, located 76 kilometres southeast of Durango, Mexico. The initial phase allocates 3,500 metres to the Quebradillas Mine—targeting the C460 Zone (460 metre known strike, 500 metre vertical extent, thickness up to 8.5 metres) and adjacent sulphide-bearing veins—and 1,000 metres to the San Marcos Mine, testing oxide mineralization over a 700 metre strike and sulphide veins below historic workings. A further 1,500 metres will probe the Rosarios Mine’s WNW-trending sulphide stockwork (1.75 kilometre strike, 900 metre vertical extent) and five parallel footwall structures. The program aims to convert and expand Indicated and Inferred resources in support of a restart plan, with assay results to be released upon completion. Additional surface exploration programs on seven target areas are slated for 2026 as permitting allows.
