Sinda names Scott Cole interim CFO as Luis Barreto departs
SIND•Sinda appointed Scott Cole interim chief financial officer and principal financial officer effective October 13, 2026, replacing Luis Barreto. The board expanded to nine members on October 12 with Alberto C. Zinser’s appointment.
1. Leadership changes
Cole, previously Sinda’s vice president of finance, has more than 30 years of finance experience, primarily in mining and metals. Zinser, 61, is a founding partner of Mexico City law firm Zinser, Esponda & Gomez Mont and has more than three decades of litigation experience.
