Singapore's Sea Q2 revenue beats estimates on Shopee growth

Sea expects Shopee to achieve $1 billion in adjusted EBITDA for full-year 2026. The company said it plans to continue investing prudently to broaden the foundation for profitable growth.
Sea also said it sees long-term growth potential in Monee because of low credit penetration in its markets.

Quarterly results beat expectations
Singapore tech conglomerate Sea said second-quarter revenue rose 48% year over year to $7.80 billion, beating analyst expectations of $7.06 billion.
Net income for the quarter increased 10.6% year over year to $458.1 million. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $917.2 million, while gross profit was $3.50 billion.
Sea also said it repurchased in shares under its buyback program.
