Sinopec subsidiary Chongqing SVW Chemical commissioned a 50,000-metric-ton-a-year specialty PVA resin facility.
The expansion lifts the site’s total PVA capacity to 210,000 metric tons a year, positioning it as the largest single-site high-end PVA base.
The plant reached stable operation during startup, and the first shipment was sent to Europe.
