Six Flags Q3 revenue slightly beats estimates on higher spending
FUN•Six Flags reported Q3 revenue of $1.17 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $493.2 million, both above estimates, while posting a $366.1 million net loss driven by non-cash impairment charges. It expects Q4 2026 same-park adjusted EBITDA of $140 million to $150 million.
1. Quarterly results
Q3 revenue was $1.17 billion, slightly above the $1.16 billion analyst consensus, and rose 1.4% on a same-park basis. Adjusted EBITDA was $493.2 million, above the $485.1 million estimate, and increased 1.1% on a same-park basis. The company posted a net loss of $366.1 million, driven by non-cash impairment charges, and a loss per share of $3.59.
2. Outlook and drivers
Six Flags expects Q4 2026 same-park adjusted EBITDA of $140 million to $150 million and about 60 more operating days than in the same quarter last year. The company said October was softer than planned because of weather and ride closures. Higher per-capita spending, more operating days and higher out-of-park revenue drove same-park revenue growth, partly offset by slightly lower attendance; increased passholder visits were offset by fewer single-day visits and complimentary tickets.
