Tyler Aklestad and Nick Olstad powered their Ski-Doo MXZ X-RS 600R E-TEC machines to first place at the 2026 Iron Dog, with Team #5’s Zack Weisz and Thomas Davis finishing second. This 1–2 sweep marks Ski-Doo’s sixth Iron Dog win in the past seven years, highlighting the reliability of its consumer models.

In the ISOC Pro event at Salamanca, New York, rookie Crayden Dillon delivered a dominant nine-second victory, while season leader Jordan Lebel climbed from eighth to third within four laps to secure his sixth podium of the year. Competitors used the same MXZ X-RS 600R E-TEC snowmobiles available to consumers, reinforcing the performance of standard models. BRP plans to launch the 2027 MXZ X-RS 600RR E-TEC featuring the new Rotax 600RR engine and is accepting orders through March 31 for this higher-horsepower upgrade.
