Skyward’s Apollo partners with Generali to launch Red Bridge Syndicate 2031
SKWD•Skyward Specialty unit Apollo partnered with Generali to launch Red Bridge Syndicate 2031, which received in-principle Lloyd’s approval and is expected to begin underwriting on January 1, 2027.
1. Syndicate launch
Apollo, a Skyward Specialty unit, partnered with Generali to launch Red Bridge Syndicate 2031, with Apollo serving as managing agent. The syndicate received in-principle approval from Lloyd’s and is expected to begin underwriting on January 1, 2027.
2. Reinsurance access
Red Bridge will give Lloyd’s members access to Generali’s diversified outward reinsurance program across Europe, providing Generali with new capital sources. The partnership brings Apollo’s managed syndicates to 11 and expands its platform partner business, generating additional fee-based revenue for Skyward.
