SLB•SLB has expanded its Shreveport Business Park operations to occupy 3.1 million square feet of the former GM plant under a long-term lease with IRG. The company has invested over $48.5 million since 2023 and will increase on-site staff from 820 to about 1,200 employees after completion.

Since 2023, SLB has committed a total of $48.5 million in advanced manufacturing operations at the site, including an initial $18.5 million and a subsequent $30 million investment. On-site staffing has grown from zero to 820 employees and will reach approximately 1,200 employees after full build-out, with projections of 1,400 by 2027.
