SLB, TotalEnergies digital subsurface collaboration adds Chevron as co-developer
SLB•SLB added Chevron to Arena, its digital subsurface collaboration with TotalEnergies launched in 2024. Chevron will invest capital, provide intellectual property and technical expertise, and co-develop reservoir engineering and geoscience technologies.
1. Chevron joins collaboration
Chevron will contribute capital, intellectual property and technical expertise to co-develop reservoir engineering and geoscience technologies in Arena. Operator experts will work in SLB technology centers to speed product development and target scalable, open digital subsurface tools; the collaboration builds on prior work that delivered the Intersect reservoir simulator.
