1. Third-quarter results
Slide Insurance reported Q3 gross premiums written rose 9.3% year over year, revenue increased 35.9%, and net income climbed 24.5% to $138.2 million. Diluted earnings per share rose 37.3%.
2. Higher full-year outlook
The company raised its 2026 gross written premiums outlook to $1.90 billion-$1.95 billion and its net income guidance to $500 million-$520 million. It expects full-year return on equity above 40%.
3. Dividend and drivers
Slide declared a $1.50-per-share special dividend and closed a $1.07 billion credit facility. Premium growth reflected voluntary new business, renewals of previously acquired Citizens policies and new state launches; higher catastrophe losses from Florida convective storms increased the combined ratio, partly offset by improved operating leverage. Policy acquisition, underwriting and administrative expenses rose with staffing and technology costs.
