SmartRent Q2 FY26 net loss narrows 48% to $5.6 million; revenue rises 4% to $39.8 million

SmartRent posted Q2 revenue of USD 39.8 million, up 4% from a year earlier; net loss narrowed to USD 5.6 million.
Gross margin widened to 40.7%, up 7.6 percentage points; adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) turned positive at USD 0.7 million.
Annual recurring revenue rose 13% to USD 64.5 million, representing 40% of revenue; total units deployed climbed 10% to 929,487.
Units booked hit 48,254, up 98%, pushing trailing 12-month units booked up 40% to 112,560.
Frank Martell said the installed IoT footprint is about 930,000 units, positioning SmartRent to exceed 1 million installed units in H1 2027.
