Smith-Midland won a $1.7 million contract to supply precast concrete utility vaults for a data center project in northern Louisiana.
Production is underway at its Midland, Virginia plant, and deliveries are scheduled to run through end-2026.
The award expands the company’s reach beyond its core region, with the project located more than 1,000 miles from its manufacturing base.
