Smith-Midland wins $1.7 million precast utility vaults contract for Louisiana data center project

Smith-Midland won a USD 1.7 million contract to manufacture and deliver precast concrete utility vaults for a northern Louisiana data center project.

Production is underway in Midland, Virginia; deliveries are scheduled to run through end-2026.

The order extends the company’s reach beyond its core markets, with the project located more than 1,000 miles from its Virginia facility.
