Quarterly results turn profitable as sales climb
Smith & Wesson posted Q1 fiscal 2027 net sales of $112.6 million, up 32.3% year over year.
GAAP results swung to net income of $2.6 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, from a net loss a year earlier.
Gross margin widened 2.8 percentage points to 28.7%, helped by $2.9 million in tariff refunds that lifted margin about 260 basis points.
Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDAS rose to $13.8 million, or 12.2% of net sales, from $7.4 million and 8.7%.
