SoftBank Corp., under the leadership of President & CEO Junichi Miyakawa, has introduced its proprietary software stack, Infrinia AI Cloud OS, aimed at optimizing AI data center operations. Developed by the Infrinia Team, this platform integrates resource orchestration, low-latency networking and automated workload scheduling to support large-scale AI model training and inference. Infrinia AI Cloud OS leverages SoftBank’s existing cloud infrastructure partnerships and is designed to manage thousands of GPUs and custom accelerators across multiple sites. By enabling dynamic allocation of compute and storage resources, SoftBank expects to reduce AI training runtimes by up to 30% and improve overall energy efficiency by 20%, positioning the company to capture a growing share of the enterprise AI services market.
