Solstice Materials gains after raising annual forecast on strong specialty materials demand

Q2 net sales rose more than 11% from a year ago to $1.15 billion, while adjusted core profit increased 2% to $290 million.
Outlook and management comments
SOLS expects 2026 adjusted earnings to be between $2.75 and $2.95 per share, compared with its prior view of $2.45 to $2.75.
CEO David Sewell told Reuters that the company had seen a minor cost impact from the Middle East conflict, but said it was immaterial relative to the overall business.
Including the session's move, SOLS is up 14.6% year to date.
Shares rise after guidance increase
Specialty materials maker Solstice Advanced Materials SOLS.O was up 6.8% at $59.49 after the company raised its full-year adjusted profit and sales forecasts on strong demand for nuclear, refrigerants and electronic materials, as well as pricing actions.
